June 3rd through June 12th will be 2011’s dates for Ohio Bike Week. New events all across Ohio added this year! Two gigantic weekends packed with free events, national act concerts, antique bike display, moto-cross races, AHDRA drag races, bike shows, builder ride, Sunday June 5th scavenger hunt and hog roast at the world famous Put-In-Bay Island, mixed martial arts cage fights, winery tours, family areas and children’s activities & displays, HUGE motorcycle parade, manufacturer demo rides and rentals, biker games, campground & swap meet, and last but not least the absolutely astounding Downtown Block Party!! Weekdays are no less of an adventure with; All Country Music Day, Ekoostik Hookah jam band performance night, Jimmie VanZant, Kelleys Island poker run and party, family thrill night, the Thursday night block party featuring a FREE national act, freestyle exhibitions, poolside bikini and ring girl contest, and some nice “down-time” with plenty of destinations to visit. Any, or everyday you choose to attend; the summer vacation area always boasts; over a hundred bars and restaurants in the little town of Sandusky and the surrounding waterfront communities, America’s best amusement park - Cedar Point with 17 roller coasters or a night out on a resort island, area winery or a day at one of the five water-parks. This is one of the fastest growing rallies in the United States. Ohio Bike Week offers 10 days of; demos, exhibits, vendors, charity gambling, boat cruises; and don’t forget daily activities at the new Harley-Davidson dealership Mad River Harley-Davidson or the world famous EasyRiders Saloon; all put together toward the goal of wearing out your fun meter. Ohio bike week has tons of live entertainment, vendors, rides & contests! ! With huge growth in numbers in 2010; over 150,000 visitors throughout the week and over 70,000 at the final night’s “Block Party”; this is one rally you should not miss.  The first Michigan State H.O.G. Rally to be held in the Upper Peninsula. The dates are set for August 26-29, 2010. So get ready to ride north. Make plans now to attend “Da Moonlight Rally” in Escanaba.

Delta County and the City of Escanaba are centrally located in the heart of Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula. And this biker friendly community that sits next to Lake Michigan’s Little Bay de Noc is a great starting point for all of the fantastic riding that the U.P. has to offer. You’ll see sparkling streams, bays and lakes of clean clear blue water, green forests, abundant wildlife, soaring limestone cliffs, rolling farm country, lighthouses, and even a ghost town. It’s the only place in the country where you can ride pavement through a National Forest, past waterfalls, and visit two Great Lakes all in one day!

Rally headquarters will be the U.P. State Fairground. This 80 acre facility features on-site camping. And you can bet that when the kickstands go down the party will crank up. The rally committee is working on a wide variety of rides, music, entertainment, activities, and attractions to keep the fun flowing all weekend!
